This turquoise was purchased at the world's largest mineral show "Tucson Gem Show" held in Arizona, USA in February 2023.

It is "Kingman turquoise" which is rare in ANAM gems.

The Kingman Mine, located south of the already closed Sleeping Beauty Mine,

It is a famous mountain where a lot of turquoise is produced even now.

Dot-like patterns called "spider web"

Turquoise is loved by enthusiasts as a collector's item.

This is a soft blue and brown Kingman turquoise mini tumble.

I bought it because I was attracted to the cute color and the expression.

Most of Kingman turquoise is "turquoise chalk" like the chalk used for chalkboards, so it is almost always made into beads after being "processed with resin".

This is also stabilized with resin, so it is stronger than the original turquoise, but there may be some transparency or transparent parts due to the resin.

Also, since it is still a small turquoise, there may be some weakness or misalignment around the hole.

And for the sake of it, the "spider web" mentioned above may be mixed in the continuous material.
